The next Cadillac…

I just came across this video. It was well done by Robbie, maybe i should give it a shot. For the next version of this one in the CT5, I would prefer if the carbon fiber is used as much as we see in this model. In addition the OLED screens need to be in there. It would be a bummer if a car was released and updated in the next year with a new interior. And for my last point, please don’t drive us crazy by not using black rims! @SocietyCadillac

EXCLUSIVE: Fernando Alonso announces he’ll drive for McLaren at Indy 500!

SKY SPORTS – We speak to Fernando Alonso as he announces that he has signed to race for McLaren in May’s Indianapolis 500, making a third attempt to win the showpiece race and complete motorsport’s triple crown. The double F1 world champion will drive in a third car for the new Arrow McLaren SP team at the Brickyard, joining the outfit’s full-time pairing of Patricio O’Ward and Oliver Askew.

Picking a 93 Octane Gas Station

A follow up to Han’s previous thread. I did some research online on what is the best 93 octane gas for our cars and what gas station provides it. My findings, after reading different information on the web was Shell V Power is the best. I compared it to Sunoco which sponsors Nascar and Shell which sponsors Ferrari F1 for many years now. The feedback on everything on the web is Shell V Power Wins.

The issue was where I live, Shell V Power goes for around 3.40/gallon and Sunoco 93 goes for around 3.20/gallon. So I signed up for the Shell Gas Card!! You get around 10 cents of a gallon once you use that card and link it to an APP called Fuel Rewards. Right now Shell V Power due to the Coronavirus issue is down to 3.25/gallon. WIth the Shell card, it brings it to 3.15/gallon, which i think is pretty good. There is annual savings which is marginal, but it RIPs the issue of if you are filling the right Gas.

The word on the web is Shell V Power is better for your engine, in terms out output and mileage. The other gas stations have some quality issues and there is a Shell next to where I live every 1 mile. Please note, the price between the Shell Gas stations vary too. So you can use your cars Nav to find the best Shell, or the Fuel rewards APP.

Best of Luck!!! Could be a bunch of marketing I read on the web, but I think I am sticking with Shell V Power rest of the way.

President vs Statesman

Today, we ponder about whether our car fits into a category of being seeing on the road as a government car or a statesman going to a business meeting. I will compare two cars for your review. The first one being a government car and next one being a statesman.

A Cadillac which is officially seen as the Presidents limo is one that aligns itself with a government car. Sometimes on the road, very high-ranking officials often use Cadillacs. They are often above Ford Explorer K9 units we see on the road. As in often the case, if the car has a dark color, blue or black it usually slows traffic down as its perceived to be a cop car. Right now, there is no Cadillac as of today in production that will fill this space, but my sources say more are coming.

On the other hand, we have a Statesman and a car usually used worldwide. The Mercedes Benz. This car is used widely by statesmen all over the world. In some countries this might be the only car available. It is a classic and has established itself as a symbol of power in society. Note, now we have a sub performance brand called Mercedes AMG which designs track cars for the freeways. Its gained traction over the years and is the benchmark for other car brands. If you see one on the freeway, you definitely know it’s not a cop but a high-ranking businessman.

To summarize, both are awesome! Whether you want to be perceived as a government official or a statesman. I have had the luxury of being on both sides. It is up to your personal preference on which car you want to drive, but always keep it in your mind that if you are here Stateside, both cars are awesome.

An Eye To Keep On – Cadillac

As per some information from GM Authority and Car and Driver, the next CT5 Blackwing or whatever it is named will carry the current CTS-V Supercharged engine with a little bump in Horsepower. We might be looking at around 670 Horses. In addition, this information has not been released yet – but I expect a new interior as previewed at the CES this year. It might be a large dual screen. We shall see how it plays out and whether GM decides to put it in this car. The next Escalade already might carry the dual screens. They seem to be identical to the MBUX system currently in the Mercedes AMG models. Below is a short video from GM Authority, I don’t believe I can hear the supercharger from the outside. In any case, the AMG E63s has some serious competition.

Testing The Revs

Just out of curiosity, I wanted to see to what the precise redline of a C63s actually is, as videos online comparing a BMW M3 cs don’t do justice to an AMG. After placing the car in Race mode and automatic shifting the car would switch gears up precisely at the redline of 7000 RPM. It would just be perfect with all the twin turbo boost. The shifts were soft and did not crack my neck!! Also, it gives me good insight on how to use my paddles more effectively. The picture above was really tough to take and was on the TRACK and the car is in sports mode during its cool down period. The rubber did have a good smell though, when I parked the AMG back in my garage.

The Perfect Rim

So the question arises, “What are the most ideal Rims for my car?” Without going into too much detail and long explanations I would like to speak from experience. The ideal RIM that is spec’ed for your car is an OEM RIM. This means it has to come from the manufacturer. On AMG sedans and coupes, the RIM that has been track tested in warm and cold conditions is 19″. If you put an oversized aftermarket RIM on the car for beautiful looks, it will not be a perfect fit and might affect your car in braking conditions and also affect its performance on the track. The car is not designed for this change and safety questions are possible. The decision you need to make is when you purchase the car from a dealership. You need to option the cars RIM for color and size right from the manufacturer. This option/upgrade from the manufacturer is only a small cost. If you get this right then you will be at peace…Aftermarket RIMS are expensive and with tires can really hurt your wallet. They carry no resale value whatsoever..Hence when you pick the car from an inventory in the entire country or build it custom, make sure you get the wheels you desire!!! That content feeling on how your car looks in your garage is priceless, so get it right when you buy the car!!

The online automobile marketplace #Carspear @carspear Carspear.com

We decided to publish this article to show more visibility on the online marketplace for cars. Looking at research on the industry it looks like there are two types of engines.
Internal Combustion Engine – Petrol heads like me desire. The more power the more glorious the ride. A few companies that are priced right and we need to look at are Mercedes AMG, BMW M and Cadillac V series. Others are overpriced imports or boutique where production meets the little demand there is.
The Battery Powered Unit – I would not call it an engine, but a battery powered performance car. The faster the battery charges the more the industry changes. In this area there are a few players such as Tesla, but the offering onslaught from VW is coming and by 2023 we should see every brand offering some type of model. The supercharger network is also growing here in the States and if OPEC plays hard the next Democratic President might piece together stronger regulations like Obama did. Right now, under Trump the Internal Combustion Engine lives on.
Most of the car buying is done online on manufacturers websites. As you climb the pyramid you will find brilliant shows such at #TheGrandTour where manufacturers market their upcoming models on Amazon Prime. Good resources in this arena are few. There are also subscription magazines but they categorize cars and the consumer thinks different. I would not get carried away by what magazines say. They often have to be in compliance with manufacturer research.
I would really like you to visit our upcoming website www.carspear.com
Folks from England @JeremyClarkson and CO. (The Amazon Prime show and previously BBC Top Gear) have already noticed Carspear frequently in their inbox. Ideally we would like to work with our resources to bring journalist transactions online, where they exchange their research with the whole web. Carspear currently has a 100 visitors everyday and most of the best automobile information is on Twitter and tough to find. Twitter is a great example on recording Blockchain transactions and the reference model they use can be copied by no other website.
If you have any questions log onto www.carpsear.com and my helpdesk will review and target the area you need help with.
Cars, you always love them. See you inside!!
Cheers,
@DalalSean
